Two people were killed in a train collision in western Czech Republic, CTK news agency reports. Seven people are in critical condition.
The clash took place under hitherto unknown circumstances, on the border of the village of Milavace, which is close to the border with Germany.

Helicopters and ambulances were immediately on the scene to provide first aid. Czech Deputy Prime Minister Karel Havlicek said one of the trains violated a “stop” sign and collided with the other train.
