At least two people have been killed in Israel today by rocket fire from the Gaza Strip , Israeli police say, adding that a total of 12 people have been killed in Israel since the start of hostilities. “A place where foreign workers live was hit by a rocket, ” police said in a statement . “There are two dead, one seriously injured, one with moderate injuries and three with minor injuries.”
The building that was hit is located in the Eskol area , near Gaza.
After a pause of a few hours, Palestinian fighters in the Gaza Strip resumed firing rockets at Israel again this afternoon . The Israel also continued attacks by attacking Hamas targets. The Israeli armed forces announced this morning that they had shot down an unmanned aircraft approaching the Israeli-Jordanian border, without specifying where the aircraft was coming from.
