Meru County Women Representative Bishop Hon Kawira Mwangaza blasted Meru County Governor Kiraitu Murungi’s political debates on formation of new political parties while delivering a sweeping condemnation of Kiraitu Murungi’s track record of development.
With less than 10 months until Election Day, Bishop Hon. Kawira Mwangaza said that even if Kiraitu Murungi is presented with 50 political parties, he will not perform the work for which he was elected by the people because he is lazy and will continue to be lazy.
While speaking at a function in Nguthiru in Mwariama Stadium, Mwangaza said political parties are not inherently bad, but discussions about the formation of new political parties should take place three months before the election.

Now is the time to support those people crying for help. While giving a presser at the function, the Meru County MP was moved by a lady from Mujwa in Imenti North in Meru County who shed tears because of the difficulty she had faced due to a lack of school fees.
Bishop Hon Kawira Mwangaza stated that the lady texted her earlier, stating that her child was a student at Pwani University and was facing a number of challenges, including being locked out of the rental house due to a lack of rent, among other challenges.
She said that she had a cheque with her that had not been issued to a beneficiary of the same university after months of efforts to find the beneficiary were futile.
“I asked her if she knew how to get to Mwariama Stadium so I could hold public participation, and if the public agrees, we will fill out the details on the bursary application form so that she could receive the money,” she said.
The lady burst into tears when she learned she had been awarded the bursary. The Meru County MP told her to stop crying because her wish had been granted and God had bestowed a miracle on her.
Bishop Hon. Kawira Mwangaza presented the lady with two cheques for Ksh 10,000 each totaling to Ksh 20,000.
