On the morning of November 21, 2019, the late Star Journalist Eric Oloo’s body was discovered in Chief Inspector Ms Sabina Kerubo’s house in Ugunja, sub-county.
Joel Lutta, a suspect in his murder case, was sentenced to 35 years in jail by a Siaya High Court.
“You can’t simply say sorry after causing such a loss. While murder carries a death penalty, I will sentence you to 35 years in prison because of the circumstances. On the basis of testimony and fact, the court has found you guilty,” Judge Aburili ruled.
