“In my manifesto, I plan to support the education sector so that it can continue to grow. I urge politicians and my fellow aspirants to exercise caution when it comes to education. Eng. Kagwima urged parents to sacrifice what little they have to send their children to school despite the harsh economic times in the country.

According to Eng. Kagwima, Igembe North residents will have taken a step forward to a bright future if they can support education as a community.

“I urge parents who are enrolling their children in Form One to make every effort and do everything they can to ensure that their children report to school so that we can help ourselves and the children thrive. I also implore them to make an effort and give up whatever they have in order for their children to complete their education,” Eng. Kagwima said.

Eng. Kagwima said that he was aware of the many challenges facing Igembe North residents at the moment due to the lack of a Miraa market, which he said had impacted his people economically and left them without money.
